Hamilton Helps projects to-date include:

  • Facilitating resource-sharing partnerships among businesses, homeowners, and agencies

  • Hosting yearly community conversations with Hamilton County food systems leaders and advocates.

  • Launching the Hamilton Healthy Food Connections program, giving seniors and individuals in need with Hamilton County Farmers Market vouchers to help make healthy food more accessible across our county

  • Providing grant writing assistance to local agencies enhancing food security in our county

  • Publicizing local food pantry’s donation needs and fundraising for additional matching contributions

  • Supporting AdkAction’s Fair Food Program which provides funding to qualified households through pre-paid credit cards which can be used in Hamilton County grocery stores.

  • Worked with Colgate University to research food issues in the County.
